23rd Meeting September 11, 2010 Meeting
Members Present: Mike King, Tom Grazioli, Tammy Elsey, Jerry McLamb, George Whitton Jr, Elaine Frye, Rudy Frye, Leslie Edwards, John Nolen, John Richardson, Curtis Sauls, Petra Darby, Ty Darby, Gene Floyd, Sandy Nolen

I. Meeting was called to order at 10:30 am at the home of Ty & Petra Darby

II. Nominations & election of Board of Directors
Nominations were made and new board members were elected: Happy Rogers, Ty Darby, Hal Baldwin, John Docherty, Keith Powell, Tom Grazioli, Ken Moore

III. August 17, 2010 minutes were read and approved. Tom accepted, George 2nd.

IV. Financial report & Dues report was given. Garfield made the motion, Gene 2nd.

V. Update on Unit roster: changes were made and updated.

Recessed for Lunch @ 11:30, reviened meeting at 12:30

VI. Fundraiser in Johnsonville Sept. 25, Living Histories: Appomattox Max Effort Recruitment Drive, several living histories posted on website.

VIII. Event Planning

IX. New business: members were encouraged to come up with ideas to spend money on. Motion to table more discussion on finances/scholarship until next meeting. George made motion to defer, Garfield 2nd.

X. Closing: meeting was closed at 4 pm. Next meeting will be held on October 16, 2010 at the Columns.
