I just ordered a case of powder. I certainly don't need that much, but that was to get the best price. Anyone that want some can have it for $12.00 a pound. Hopefully, I'll have it before we leave for Shiloh. Sorry, no luck with caps yet. You'll have to get them from a sutler.

Tom, how much powder do we have left? I could use two or three cans if they are available.

Jay and all,

I just ordered 25 lbs. of Schutzen FFF and 50 tins of caps. I really only wanted a couple tins of caps but there was a $27.50 hazardous material fee and another $5.95 handling fee. They let me get powder with the same hazmat fee.

Hopefully, I'll have the powder & caps at elections. The price will be cost rounded up to the next dollar. That's $7 for the caps and $14 for the powder.

Note the powder is not the "skirmish" powder made for reenactors. I got the Schutzen because it was on sale for the same price.

Tom
